The role requires the individual to work independently whilst supporting other Engineers and Specialists. Training is hands-on and you will be required to team up with the Technical Manager in field to ensure you settle into the role.

Ideally, Inteliarm is looking for a rapid learner, who is a keen problem solver and is fully committed to continually learning and developing themselves. The company is also keen to see those who can bring something new to the table, grow with the company and who will make a real difference to the organisation.

Responsibilities

 As the position is new, it is subject to change as role progresses.

  • Develop or already have competency to perform a variety of smart technology installations including general electrical work in a domestic/commercial setting
  • Provide pre and post job support including site surveys
  • Complete basic ‘handover’ tutorials to customers so they know how to use the products/services
  • Basic sales/up-selling ability where opportunity arises (training will be provided where necessary

Qualifications

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service
  • Current electrical qualifications and experience including Part P and (2 years or more would be ideal) but as a general minimum: C&G Pr 1&2 (or equivalent) for electrical installations, C&G 2382 17th Edition, C&G 2392 Inspection and Testing, Part P qualified
  • A full UK driving license with no more than 3 points
  • Experience of having worked with home automation, security or energy solutions would be highly desirable
  • Ideally located near NW London or within M25 and has ability to travel as necessary
